Life Saved #2646

On August 8th, 2024, a 7-month-old girl choked on a fruit snack wrapper resulting in a partial obstruction. Protocol was not followed. LifeVac removed the obstruction on its third use. The child’s mother describes the incident as follows:

“Baby was choking. My hands could not fit in her mouth to pull out the object that was stuck in her throat. She was turning very red and gagging. She even vomited in between. She had no air. She was choking for 30 seconds until we remembered we had the LifeVac. She is doing great now! I literally sent this to every one of our family and friends and told them to buy one. This is truly a lifesaver. We practiced as a family in case it ever happens again. Someone has to hold the babies hands down, now we know!! We will now keep it in a safe place where it’s visible and accessible to grab in emergencies so we have it handy and not just hidden in a medicine cabinet. Super grateful for LifeVac, the best purchase ever. Can’t thank you all enough.”
