Life Saved #3179

On November 28th, 2024, a 20-year-old man choked on ham during Thanksgiving, resulting in a total obstruction. Protocol was not followed as LifeVac removed the obstruction on its first use. The man’s grandmother describes the incident as follows:

“Absolutely saved his life. I bought it several years ago. They have not been needed until today. I just ordered 3 more. My daughter was the one who actually used the device on my grandson. My other grandson, who is 22 years old with Down Syndrome, knew where the device was and handed it to his mom. The patient placed the device on his own face, and then his mom used it.  The device truly is a lifesaver. I recommend every home to have one. Thank you for such an effective, life-saving device! I’m forever grateful!
