Everything went great for this purchase and the shipping. I’m excited to give these as godparent gifts. I’m wondering though, the one I purchased a couple years ago seems deflated in the inflated part on the mask. Is it normal for this? Maybe a little bit of deflation is typical? If not, could someone from customer service reach out.
Very good quality. Had to buy here since there are so many counterfeits out there. Buying straight from LifeVac and saving $$$ was great.
In response to the question asked below, the masks should be replaced every 2-3 years per this description on the replacement mask:
“This product is the replacement adult mask for the LifeVac unit. Please inspect masks periodically and we suggest replacement every 2 to 3 years.”
My granddaughter was in a horrific car accident when she was 18. She has a TBI in the part of the brain that controls speech plus damage to throat! It makes it difficult sometimes for her to swallow and also sometimes she chokes. I bought this recently and her sister is a paramedic and is going to show us all on Christmas how to use this correctly! I can’t really rate it yet but bought it for a safety reason!
I asked if there was any problem using the unit if it was left in a car in freezing weather and have not heard back.
