The LifeVac is a non-powered, non-invasive, single-use-only airway clearance device developed for resuscitating a victim with an airway obstruction when current choking protocols have been followed without success. LifeVac has a one-way valve that does not allow any air to enter a choking victim on the downward motion. The LifeVac comes fully equipped with an adult mask and a pediatric mask. The duration of the suction is minimal which makes LifeVac safe and effective. LifeVac is easy to use in an obstructed airway emergency. Free online training is available.

love the product but a little pricey. should be able to lower the price to help save more lives.
I only rate it a 4 because fortunately we haven’t needed to use it. I got one for my wife and I and one for each of our sons and our grandchildren, Nine, seven, two yr twins and one 9month old.
I do have one comment. though, is it possible that your LifeVac device could have a small adjustment that would reverse the flow after extracting the obstruction and convert it to a positive flow into the victim? Such as mouth to mouth resuscitation but mechanical force.
About fifty years ago, right after I was married, I was on an international flight when a passenger seemed to pass out and I was asked to see to him. I applied bottled Oxygen and chest compressions. No result and the passenger died. About a month later I read about the new procedure, the Hemlic (sp) Maneuver. As the copilot, I was named along with Pan Am in a suite for performing a wrong diagnosis. Luckily it was thrown out during the trial.
