On August 14th, 2025 a 2-year-old boy choked on a baby ring resulting in a partial obstruction. Protocol was followed. LifeVac successfully dislodged the obstruction on its second attempt. The child’s father described the incident as follows:
“My son was choking on something unknown. His mom and I were smacking his back and trying to help him. We had no luck so I quickly grabbed the LifeVac. We laid him down and tried 2-3 times without luck when he began spitting it up. When we rolled him to his side, we took a baby ring out.
