On November 13th, 2025 a 20-year-old girl choked on a piece of fatty steak resulting in a total obstruction. LifeVac successfully dislodged the obstruction on its third attempt. The woman's mother described the incident as follows:
“This device saved my daughter this morning. She decided it would be a good idea to eat a 3"- 4" piece of fat from last nights dinner (I had no idea). Needless to say, she got it lodged in her throat. I had very little time to respond. I bought the LifeVac two years ago. I had no experience using this device but I needed to use it immediately so I laid her down and plunged her 3 times and when I knew she was breathing I tossed the device to calm her down. All this while on the phone with 911. I had them come and evaluate her, they said her vitals are great and I saved her life. Now she is playing "just dance." All the glory to GOD. Things today could have gone completely differently. I recommend everyone have one in their home. You never know when you may need to help someone no matter their age. I am extremely thankful that I bought this device a couple years ago.”
