On July 4th, 2025 a 2.5 year old boy choked on candy during a holiday parade resulting in a total obstruction. Protocol was followed. LifeVac dislodged the obstruction on its first attempt! The childs grandfather described the incident as follows:
“My grandson was choking and his grandmother performed the procedure. He had completely choked off and was turning an odd color. It was very scary. If it was not for the device from LIFEVAC, I’m not sure we would’ve been able to save him. It’s the scariest thing I’ve witnessed yet and I’m 56 years old. We have this product, I believe, in three homes and seven different vehicles. Thank goodness we had it on hand ready to be used. We’re so thankful and are super excited to be able to promote the need for everyone to have this device on their being at all times if possible.”
