On April 12th, 2026, an 5-year-old boy choked on a Lego resulting in a total obstruction. Protocol was followed. LifeVac dislodged the obstruction on its second attempt. The child's mother described the incident as follows:
“My son was playing with Legos and somehow decided to put one in his mouth. He was choking and turning red. I tried abdominal thrusts and nothing, so I ran to get my LifeVac AND IN TWO TRYS IT WORKED! We got the Lego piece out and he was able to breathe. Honesty, he wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the LifeVac! We are forever thankful!”
