On July 20th, 2026 an 2 year old boy choked on string cheese resulting in a partial obstruction. Protocol was followed. LifeVac dislodged the obstruction on its fourth attempt. The child's mother described the incident as follows:
“I was watching TV right next to him when he started choking. It wasn’t coming out the normal way and I didn’t know what else to try. My son is doing wonderfully now. I’m eternally grateful for LifeVac, as I’m not sure he would have survived without it. It was the scariest thing to ever happen to our family. I’m grateful there were pictures on the instructions, and that we tried it before it happened because with that much adrenaline, I wasn’t able to read the instructions. Thank you for everything you do!”
